You contribute to improving the core IT competencies of our customers, building more effective and efficient organizations, making them more resilient to foreseen or unknown market disruptions.

You analyze the client’s IT performance, identify areas for improvement ‘thinking about things differently’, shape, and execute strategic initiatives that improve customer value on behalf of the clients. In the process, you advise and articulate the business value of our service offering to C-level and other senior-management decision-makers.

Your playground is leading companies, large or not so large, in different industries, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of smart people on creative and impactful projects.

As Solution Cloud Architect your responsibilities are to:

  • Profile & continuously develop yourself as a thought & execution leader in a specific technology, business & industry domain, in alignment with the defined technology & industry focus.

  • Define and constantly improve high-value IT strategy consulting propositions targeting our customers' and prospect’s corporate board & team of executives.

  • Grow current and develop new business opportunities using your unique technology, business, and industry expertise augmented by your strong communication and social skills.

  • Expand and nurture relentlessly your professional network, with our customers and with our partners.

  • Support (Pre-)Sales activities, from leads creation, expert qualification of opportunities through the creation of (Pre-)Sales collaterals and activities contributing to winning of an opportunity.

  • Engage actively in one or more sponsored communities.

  • Coach and mentor other talents, especially members of other units.

The mission
The ambition of the IT Strategy Consulting team is to leverage Devoteam’s Intellectual Property assets & experience to expand its strategic partner position to current and new customers in the Dutch market.

The team
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, with multifaceted experts in various technology, business & industry focus areas. You will complement and strengthen each other competency & creativity. Together with the CTO & the Business Development unit, your team will be front-running the applied innovation initiatives, positioning Devoteam as an overall Innovator or Early Adaptor service provider on the Dutch market.

Kwalificaties

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in either a technical or business-related field.

  • 10+ years of IT related professional experience in a commercial organization.

  • An acknowledged cloud technology expert.

  • Proficient in English. Proficient in Dutch is a major plus.

  • Excellent communicator, with daring skills to ask critical questions in a most respectful tenor.

  • Exceptional social skill with confidence in building lasting C-level or Senior Management business relationships.

  • An influencer, able to show creative thought leadership, within Devoteam and more importantly at clients.

  • Top presenter, with noteworthy storytelling, storyboarding and visualization skills matching a defined target audience.

  • Self-starter, self-sufficient, yet an admirable team player with a strong outcome-driven identity.

  • Commercially savvy, with proven ability to support a successful (pre-)sales engagement;

  • Value creation savvy, delivering advice to customers that make the most powerful value impact.

  • Observant & resilient; with a talent to sense accurately the political relationships in an organization and deliver successfully in a politically charged ecosystem.

  • Coaching intellect, guiding others to achieve unique professional growth.
